BiteWise Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using BiteWise, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use BiteWise. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

Not Medical or Dietary Advice

BiteWise provides estimated nutrition information and food tracking tools for informational purposes only — not medical or dietary advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition or food allergy. You assume full responsibility for decisions you make based on information in BiteWise.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BiteWise for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms.

No Warranty

BiteWise is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChimiDevelopment is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BiteWise.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ChimiDevelopment from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of BiteWise or your violation of these Terms.

App Store Terms

If you downloaded BiteWise from Apple's App Store, Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. If you downloaded BiteWise from Google Play, your use is also subject to Google Play's Terms of Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of BiteWise after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to BiteWise at any time if you violate these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
